Sewing Classes for Kids
(ages 7 - 15)
Students learn to use the sewing machine on a series of paper sheets. Then sew a pillow & envelope purse. At each session they complete a project to bring home : stuffed animal, vest, skirt, loose pants, etc. After learning the basics, they proceed to simple patterns that might take 2 , 3 or more sessions to complete.
Classes meet once a week, for 1.5 hrs.Try one session - $38; then buy a block to continue.
for ages 5 & 6 - they learn hand sewing & create simple, fun projects.
A 1 hour class is $28
Sewing Classes for
Adults & Teens

If interested in clothing, after basics, students learn working with easy patterns in fabrics that work well for beginners. They also learn to make a muslin for fitting and construction practice.
If interested in home furnishings, the
instructor will assign projects that
accomplish this -again in fabrics best for
beginners.
After the student reaches a level of
accomplishment, they are ready to work
with ultimate fabrics.
